The Stutt Stakes scheduled to be run Grand Final eve at Moonee Valley has a impressive track record in recent years of producing the winner of the Caulfield Guineas with notable horses such as Helenus and Who be Got you. On Friday night the leading contenders for the 2010 Caulfield Guineas. Horses like Hollowlea, Epic Dragon and Maraaseem will be competing over the mile in the Stutt Stakes. 2010 Caulfield Guineas – more money for Toorak Toff

September 20th, 2010 admin No comments

Money continued for Toorak Toff today as he firmed from the odds of 5.50 to 5.0 to win the 2010 Caulfield Guineas. Toorak Toff was just beaten by Anacheeva in the Caulfield Guineas and has been very impressive this time in winning his last 2 starts. Skiilled trained by Peter Snowden ran a great 3rd in the race particularly for his first time around the Caulfield circuit.

Rekindled Interest ran on again with an eye catching 5th. Punters still asking is Rekindled Interest a heartbreaker which keeps running on. Insiders think he may wear blinkers in the 2010 Caulfield Guineas and settle much closer in the big race which would make him more competitive.

Toorak Toff firmed from the odds of $6.50 to $5.50 favourite for the 2010 Caulfield Guineas despite finishing second in the Caulfield Guineas prelude yesterday. The Peter Moody trained Anacheeva won the Prelude coming from behind in a fast run Caulfield Guineas prelude. Anacheeva has firmed to the odds of 8.0 to win the 2010 Caulfiedl Guineas.

My tip for the 2010 Caulfield Guineas

September 17th, 2010 admin No comments

Toorak Toff although the equal favourite to win the 2010 Caulfield Guineas looks a great bet at $6.50. His win in the Golden Rose was sensational… why? He made a sustained run for 800 metres and this is what you need to win a Caulfield Guineas. He is versatile horse, can take a forward or backward position and at $6.50 he looks exceptional value before todays’s race. He will win today and win in 2 weeks time.

The horse for the 2010 Victoria Derby is Rekindled Interest who will be charging home in the Guineas but find the 1600 metres too short.

2010 Caulfied Guineas prelude run today

September 17th, 2010 admin No comments

The Caulfield Guineas Prelude today features many of the main contenders for the 2010 Caulfield Guineas due to run in 2 weeks time. The Golden Rose winner Toorak Toff is a deserved favourite with his excellent form this time in, plus the nice weight of only 56kg. Toorak Toff is also a winner at Caulfield. The new factor today at Caulfield is a good track so many of the horses which have not performing on the wet tracks can quickly turn around their form and vica versa. Today’s race will be an excellent guide to who wins the 2010 Caulfield Guineas as the race looks strong . Toorak Toff starts the short quote and odds of $2.0 to win today, so if you like Toorak Toff the $6.50 on offer looks a good bet prior to him firming after a good run today

I love this city now favourite for the 2010 Caulfield Guineas

September 17th, 2010 admin No comments

I love this city was the big market mover during the week for the 2010 Caulfield Guineas after his strong win the Spring Stakes at Newcastle during the week. Glen Boss gave I love this City a big wrap after the win, however, history says that the Srping Stakes is not the best indicator of form for the Caulfield Guineas as many Sydney horses struggle at their first time at Caulfield. In my book I love this city is under the odds to win the 2010 Caulfield Guineas.
